Extracorporeal shockwave therapy

Shock waves are mechanical pressure waves that affect the tissues. Shockwave therapy is widely used in the treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system.

Having initially testified to non-invasive crushing of kidney stones, shock wave therapy has since been successfully applied in orthopedics. Its effectiveness is the subject of discussions and is confirmed in numerous international studies and reports.

Indications for use

Indications for RSWT (radial shock wave therapy) are confirmed on the basis of ultrasound examination.
